Galvanized (Hot-dipped) Studded Steel T-posts Our hot-dipped galvanized steel T-posts are a good choice for permanent fence construction. These posts, all manufactured according to ASTM A702-89 specificiations, come with a heavy-duty spade to anchor them in the ground. Steel U-posts The 4 and 5 foot U-posts below (09-108U and 09-109U) are light-weight (0.45 pounds per foot) and painted green. They are durable and well-suited to serving as corner posts for a 3 or 4 foot electric deer fence. The 8 foot galvanized U-post is twice as heavy (0.9 pounds per foot). It is able to hold up 6-foot barrier fences and can also anchor wire fences under limited tension. |
